how hard is it to get a PM&R residency these days? more people have now found about PM&R, and i have heard that applications have gone thru the roof this year. i imagine the competetion for the top PM&R residencies will be stiff.
but how hard is it to get one an PM&R residency at a less prestigious place these days (esp for an IMG)?
also, what kind of board scores do u need for PM&R? i was told in the past, all u needed was passing USMLE Step 1 scores. obviously thats not the case anymore.
finally, what would u consider as potential top 10 pm&R programs? i assume kessler, harvard, northwestern, and mayo clinic are up there.
