UC Irvine Dermatology Clinical Research Fellowship

UC Irvine Department of Dermatology has a clinical research fellowship which is a 2 year position as a clinical specialist. The program is intended to train physicians to provide competent clinical care to those affected by serious and chronic dermatologic diseases and encourage the development of individuals with research potential to help them prepare for a career of independent clinical investigation in the area of chronic inflammatory skin diseases. The research fellow will be involved in a variety of clinical trials and research projects under the guidance of the individual faculty members. Clinical studies are both industry sponsored clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies in areas of psoriasis, photomedicine, cutaneous cancer therapies, general medical dermatology, lasers and cosmetic devices.
