You have be competitive for MD schools as long as your MCAT is at least 508. Post your actual score here next year and we can advise you on which schools you could apply to.
Caribbean?! That's risky as hell. Better to apply DO; with a 505 or better you'll be competitive for any DO school and a 512 makes you a competitive MD student.
I really want to get into an MD though. I like what allopathic medicine offers than osteopathic medicine. I am willing to work really hard at a Caribbean school.
You might not like not matching and being unemployed with a boatload of debt and no way to pay it off. What exactly do you think MD offers that DO doesn’t offer? I’ve never heard that before!
