You should be able to receive some interviews at DO schools. These are schools where you have a chance:
ACOM
BCOM
WCU-COM
UP-KYCOM
MU-COM
LMU-DCOM
VCOM (all 3 schools)
WVSOM
LUCOM
any new schools that open in 2017 (Utah,Texas, Arkansas)

A 3.9 SMP would be perfect for any DO school, including mine! The weak MCAT would rule out MD schools, except perhaps for your state school.
