Dealing with Thrush

So my girlfriend's mom developed thrush after a course of antibiotics and is now having a hard time getting rid of it. Her PC doctor had put her on some im guessing antifungal tablets that disolve in her mouth, and shes been taking them as required for 2 weeks now. Shes about out of the medication and the thrush is persisting, and cant get ahold of her PC doctor. Apparently shes been reading up online about home remedys as far yogurt and some kind of tea oils. As a MSI student I definately cant give her any advice about what to do or possible interactions with her current meds. Does anyone out there have any current suggestions or info. Thanks.
