Crush for step 3 used for step 2?

A couple of friends of mine who took step 2 told me that they used crush for step 3 instead of the step 2 version. They said that the step 2 version is missing a lot and the step 3 version is a more complete book with all the information missing in the step 2 version.

Anyone else use this approach. I just dont want to read through material that isnt pertinent to step 2. My buddies told me that step 2 and 3 material is pretty much the same.

any advice would be great.

i am using step 3 crush for my step 2. I heard the same from a couple of people. I compared the two and basically the info is pretty much the same. the only good thing about step 3 crush is that it has more uptodate info as compared to crush step 2. did your friends do well in step 2 with crush step 3?

I used Crush Step 2 and scored in the 93rd percentile. I also used Boards and Wards b/c it was easy to take on rotations and read during down time.
