Could you please tell me if premed is better in in Georgia Tech vs Georgia State

I Live in Atlanta. I know that Georgia Tech is a much better school than Georgia State but I’ve heard that it’s very hard to get good GPA at Georgia Tech. Is it better for me to go to Georgia State for premed even though it is a lower tier school. Thank you for your input.

It does not matter. You should go to the one you feel is a better fit for you.

If you are more comfortable with Georgia State then that is perfectly fine! Both are reputable schools so either way it will suit you well.

Unless you are going to a feeder school (usually T20 undergrads) then school doesn't matter in my opinion. As long as both schools have ample opportunities for research and volunteering, go to whichever will make you more comfortable.

If you're thinking about Medical College of Georgia, go to UGA. GT is cool, but not as "cool" as UGA. I wouldn't go to Georgia State unless I couldn't get into either UGA or GT.
