Hello! I am a first-year medical student interested in plastic surgery. I am wondering if there are any conferences you recommend attending throughout med school to network and learn more about the field in general. Thanks!

To learn about the field? You should try ASPS (Plastic Surgery The Meeting). It’s the biggest meeting with a huge turnout from both academic and private practice groups.

To network with all the residency program directors, the ACAPS Winter meeting is very underrated and a great meeting to rub shoulders and network with residency PD’s. It’s definitely a more formal meeting so bring suits!
