Comlex PE Hand washing

Do people fail the comlex level 2 PE for not washing hands before the encounter?
I did it for most patients but for a few I forgot about it entirely until the end.
Is this a deal breaker?

I have heard of people passing who forgot to wash hands. Its just one component.
