I am a non-US citizen in a Radiology residency interested in combined breast-abdominal fellowship programs. I came across a few promising combined programs but want to know about other people's experience. I know a lot of this will be program-specific but it would help to get a general sense of things.
Are some combined programs better than others in terms of getting enough exposure to breast procedures and imaging? Are there any combined programs to avoid?
How much can you "tailor" the combined programs to your goals? For example, doing general abdo imaging in a women's imaging program.
Are there breast imaging programs that are more friendly towards providing informal training or elective time in abdominal imaging?
