The divisions of Pathology Informatics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) have partnered with the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics (CHOP DBHi) Clinical Informatics Fellowship program to offer a pathology informatics concentration within the ACGME accredited Clinical Informatics fellowship.

In addition to the training program set out for the Clinical Informatics fellowship program, pathology informatics trainees will participate in a pathology informatics rotation. This will include didactic and clinical experiences in data analytics, laboratory informatics, digital pathology, genomics, and clinical bioinformatics. A supplement to the rotation is a capstone project relevant to the fellow's area of interest.

Please complete the application process using the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). NOTE: Within the ERAS application system, CHOP is designated under “Clinical Informatics (Pediatrics); there is no Pathology designation. Once we receive your application, we will clarify with you regarding your interest in the pathology concentration.

We are currently reviewing applications for this concentration for July, 2023. The application deadline is December 31, 2021.

Note:
We are unable to accept applicants with J1 visas.
