I may accept a full time medical assistant job while I wait for the next PT cycle. Question is, would being a medical assistant fulfill clinical hours on a school application? I also plan on volunteering in PT clinics on the side as well so I'm just wondering if I can add being a medical assistant onto my repertoire on application

I don't think you could put in into PTCAS as "Physical Therapy Observation Hours", but you could list it as "Work", of course, and then mention it in your essay about how it helps prepare you for PT (working w/patients in a medical setting, etc.).
