Hi all,

This is my first post on SDN so I'm sorry If this is in the wrong forum. Anyways, I'm interested in SFSU's and CSUEB's career changer post bacc programs for pre health. I'm a senior at my current university.

Here are my stats:
Major: Psychology
Cumulative GPA (After this semester): 2.7
Major GPA: ~ 3.5

Long story short, I chose my first undergrad major arbitrarily and did horribly my first 2 years of college because I didn't have any study skills or interest. Once I switched to psychology I started doing well, but my success hasn't undone all my failure from my first 2 years.

I've always been interested in medicine but I always thought I was too dumb to seriously pursue it. I've grown a lot over the past few years and I feel like I could make it a reality if I really worked hard. I want to shoot my shot at PA school perhaps, so I know I would need to take all the science prerequisites. I'm sure I could do a DIY post bacc, but I like the idea of a formal program better.

Thanks for any and all input.
