Will it be necessary to know the structure of glucose, fructose, galactose & mannose? Im not sure if knowing the actual structure will be necessary but some practice questions seem to like these questions.

Im thinking just knowing that gluctose, galactose, and mannose are aldoses while fructose is a ketose is more than enough information.

Let me know please- Thanks

Nope, no need to know the structure. Just know glucose, fructose, galatose and mannose are monosaccharides and you should be fine.
