I have known people in the Bay Area who have had rhinoplasty or other plastic surgeries as a model for students and they paid half the normal price. One woman had the doctor do one side of her facelift and the other side was done by the student doctor.

I am interested in being doing this for rhinoplasty in San Diego since I cannot afford the full price.

Does anyone have any info on how I can do this?

Please help.

thank you!

I would venture that you're best optiona is to contact the plastics programs at UCSD, UCI, UCLA and USC to see if they have resident cosmetic clinic. This is a clinic that's usually run by the chief resident (the one closest to graduation) and the cases are staffed by an attending. The prices for the actual procedure are less, but generally the OR suite and anesthesia costs are fixed.
