I have just completed my B.D.S this year(April), and I don't have any clinical work experience, research experience, no experience related to dentistry. As I have seen many posts here, they suggests that any master's degree or research experience is really required to get into international dentist program as now it is just pass/fail system. I have two options:
1) Enrolling in a 2 year Masters in Administrative Science in Global Health program at Fairleigh Dickinson university( starting in January 2013)
2) Enrolling in a Clinical Research Associate Certificate program(1 year) at Oxford College, Toronto starting in Sept, 2012.
I am highly confused that which program would be of more help for this year caapid application.(atleast I will be able to put something on my caapid application even after just enrolling into any of these programs because I have seen few people who were just initially enrolled in Master's program and then left that program after getting into IDP dds program)( I am mainly left with Nyu, Boston, Temple, Colarado). I am also planing for clinical shadowing in some clinic here in Canada next month, once I finish my Part1.
Can some senior member guide me with this who might have gone through similar stage, also Is there any dental school which prefers fresh dental graduates?
Thanks in advance:idea:
