The universal life force energy of Reiki is available to all, is cost-effective, can be quickly learned and easily incorporated into the general care of patients particularly in critical care where patient ratios are low and nurses spend more time in direct care and monitoring of patients. Nurses are uniquely positioned to care for the spirit as well as the body through the application of Reiki therapy

seriously? if the nurses have time for this, then the pt isn't sick enough for ICU level care or they need more pts.

Yes well I'm guessing Robin Toms PhD, RN, NEA-BC, Past President of (2!) Sigma Theta Tau chapters, Beta Beta and Zeta Pi, Past President Elect of Epsilon Gamma, Current Treasurer Sigma Theta Tau, Beta Beta, Past Treasurer Houston Organization of Nurse Executives, Board member Court Appointed Special Advocates & numerous committees has many more letters, both English and Greek (!!!) than you do. Therefore I am duly impressed and expect that we will soon have vital evidence for the efficacy of Reiki, homeopathy, and chocolate chile enemas in sepsis and traumatic brain injury.

I know it's been posted elsewhere, but it always makes me smile:

I prefer to have my unit nurses spend their time realigning my patients qi by making sure they're effectively titrating the levophed thats keeping them alive.

Seriously.

If a patient needs their qi re-directed, that is what the pastoral care department is for.

Im telling you guys this stuff is for real! I went to a qi re-directing workshop for a few weeks last year. Down in Nevada they have these places where for about 200$ you can get your qi drained and realigned. There is nothing like manually evacuating a patients prostate with your energy.

That's what we are talking about right?

Only way I know to realign my qi...
