Hello all. I am an international student and I want to take the SAT. What book(s) would you suggest for self-studying for this test?

I am aware that there's the Official SAT Study Guide from Collegeboard and the Kaplan series. English is my first language, though I find that the writing sections is most difficult.

Thanks :)

From what I've heard on College Confidential, these are all pretty good:

Official Study Guide [Overall]
Gruber's Study Guide 2008 [Math]
Grammatix [Writing]
RocketReview [Critical Reading]
Barron's 2400 [Overall]

I also used McGraw-Hill's Workbooks to boost my score in each section about 100+ points.

Thanks. Nice name btw ;)

Once you get your score in the relatively high ranges or near your target score, be sure to take lots of practice tests. It is really important to become better at endurance, especially considering the length of the SATs.
