It has been fun interviewing, but now that it's over let's see who takes the cake in these categories:

Best Dinner: Pitt- Joseph Trambellini, vs. Mayo- 300 First

Best Drink Budget: Iowa

Best Free Hotel: CCF

Best Breakfast: UT Houston- breakfast burritos

Most Efficient Interview Day: UT Houston- nice presentations between interviews, pig trachea airway lab, seamless day.

Best Lunch: UMich

Best Tour: UT Houston- tour of helipad with view of Houston

Best Folder: CCF- hard folder with legal pad

Best Gifts: Iowa- travel mug, UMich- shirt, Pitt- shirt

Best Drink Budget: UAB. but I only ordered water. never paid attention.

Best Free Hotel: CCF vs UPitt vs UAB

Best Breakfast: UMich

Most Efficient Interview Day: U of AZ

Best Lunch: UMich

Best Tour: CCF vs UAB vs CWRU/Univ. Hospitals

Best Folder: CCF - hard folder with legal pad

Best Gifts: UMich- shirt, Pitt- shirt

Best Looking Residents: - UAB

Best Interview Question: - can't think of one cause they were all very similar. But I'm interested to see what questions others had.

Best Dinner: Arizona - unlimited appetizers + surf and turf + chocolate cake a la mode + unlimited full bar + awesome residents

Best Drink Budget: two programs had a full bar available - Arizona and Columbia

Best Free Hotel: Mayo Phoenix - gigantic suite, complimentary hot breakfast bar

Best Breakfast: Utah - full hot breakfast bar at the hotel w/program director

Most Efficient Interview Day: all of the ones that ended as soon as lunch was over

Best Lunch: fajitas at Arizona

Best Tour: OHSU. Tram.

Best Folder: Columbia - didn't give out folders, didn't feel as guilty throwing that one away.

Best Gifts: Anywhere with pens. Always seemed to forget mine.

Best Looking Residents: n/a

Best Interview Question: Do you have any questions for me?

Most vulgar PD: Mt. Sinai
 
Best Dinner: MGH - Beacon Hill Bistro

Best Drink Budget: Columbia - Tequila Shots and Mexican Beer

Best Free Hotel: Hopkins - Huge room overlooking the bay

Best Breakfast: All were pretty much the same - Bagels and coffee

Most Efficient Interview Day: Brigham - Very organized and they found numerous extra people for me to speak with regarding my specific interests

Best Lunch: Hopkins - Chinese food

Best Tour: MGH - ether dome

Best Gifts: Yale and BID - free pens

Best Looking Residents: Columbia - Very nice looking Peds Fellow gave us a tour of the children's hospital

Nicest Facilities: NYU - Interview day was moved to News Corp building due to damage from Hurricane Sandy providing a beautiful view of New York City

Best Interview Day: Mt. Sinai - So happy to not have to wear a suit and relax in scrubs all day

Favorite PD: Penn - Dr. Gaiser or Mt. Sinai - Dr. Levine
 
Best Dinner: TIE: MGH and Vanderbilt - Chart House vs. Vandy's at this great restaurant with live music - can't remember the name

Best Drink Budget: Vanderbilt - Did they ever stop pouring that wine?

Best Free Hotel: Dartmouth - the hotel overlooks Dartmouth College....beautiful

Most Efficient Interview Day: MGH - Very organized

Best Lunch: Duke - really really good sandwiches

Best Tour: MGH - ether dome (agreed with above poster)

Best Gifts: Pitt - free t-shirt

Nicest Facilities: Mayo - No explanation needed, right?

Best Interview Day: Emory - I actually liked the two days, because you were able to go straight to interviews the second day and get out early and enjoy the city.

Favorite PD: TIE: Penn, UAB, Duke
