Hey!

This is my first post on here. I'm going to be applying to podiatry schools when the new application opens in August and I was just a little confused about some of the science GPAs calculated by AACPMAS.

According to their website, there are a bunch of different GPAs calculated.

There's the cumulative BCP (Bio/Chem/Phys) GPA, a math GPA, an English GPA, and an Other Science GPA, as well as the Science GPA (includes BCP and Other Sciences) and the Non-Science GPA (includes Math, English, and other Non-Science).

I was just wondering when we refer to "Science GPA," the one that podiatry schools are really going to look at, are we talking about the BCP GPA alone or the Science GPA which includes BCP and Other Sciences (which could be Earth Science, Astronomy, etc.)

I ask because I took a Genomics class (which is considered Other Science - the only Other Science Class I took) and didn't do well. Therefore, my Science GPA is lower than my BCP GPA.

If anyone has any insight to this, please let me know!
