I'm writing a review article for one of the orthopaedic surgeons at my institution, and I don't have a good basis in, well, anything related to ortho. I'd like to have some background so I can sound halfway intelligent, but I'm having trouble finding just basic definitions of terms, surgeries, etc. Are there any good, basic references out there that might help? I spent part of the afternoon with Campbell's Operative Orthopaedics, but that seems to be more technique-oriented than actual facts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
