Delaware’s most established private dermatology practice is offering a potential partnership-to-owner opportunity. With a catchment area encompassing Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southwestern New Jersey, all of Delaware and Northern Maryland, community demand for quality care has outstripped capabilities. Current wait times for patient scheduling are unsustainable. The practice’s chief medical officer, sole physician, and owner, is triple-board certified and a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at The University of Pennsylvania. A multiple-year Delaware Today magazine Top Doctor award winner, Michael Saruk, MD promotes an atmosphere of collegiality, academic enrichment and patient-centered care. While medical dermatology is the primary focus within the practice, aesthetic services are also taken seriously. We are the official medical and aesthetic dermatology providers to the Miss Delaware USA and Miss Delaware Teen USA pageant competitors.
Core staff, including: clinical supervision; administration; billing; and front desk coordination, have all been in place for over a decade, some nearly two decades. Most medical assistants are post-baccalaureate and gaining clinical experience before moving on the graduate programs in healthcare. The practice currently employs two physician assistants and a BSN, RN nurse injector.
Our providers live in the desirable suburbs of Philadelphia’s Main Line or, in Delaware’s bucolic Chateau Country and enjoy the rich cultural, historic and educational heritage of the region. Sitting in the scenic Brandywine Valley, ten minutes from the Pennsylvania/Delaware border in suburban North Wilmington, the practice is located forty-five minutes from center city Philadelphia. The Route 95 corridor provides fast and easy access not only to Philadelphia but also, to New York, Baltimore, and Washington, DC. Extensive state parklands and the Delaware beaches are among the areas most valued recreational resources.
The practice offers a broad variety of dermatological services and can support you day one.
- Work four or five days each week.
- Practice a mix of Medical and Surgical Dermatology (and Cosmetics, if desired.)
- Supervision of mid-level providers is optional
- Practice out of a single office location
- Anticipate at least 1 scribe and 1 MA to help you with patient transition
- On average see 30-35 patients minimally each day - work at your comfort level
- Nextech Cloud, derm-centric, EMR is in place
- Comprehensive phototherapy services are on-site including a Pharos excimer laser
- CLIA-certified Mohs lab
- Professional marketing and public relations services are in-house
- Receive an annual base salary + a % of collections
