article in AOA magazine, oct edition

those wondering about the future goals of the AOA should read this month's issue. it has a good article about "defining optometry" as well as a speech by AOA's president given this summer. the speech states his goals and his views on the opt and opth battles as well profess his love for the profession.

i personally enjoyed the article about defining our profession.

the speech IMO was good, good for rallying people and quite inspiring. the way he talks about how "the battle is easy since i love the profession" makes me happy that they found such an ethusiastic man for the job, though some of what he says is up for debate

the science library at my school actually carries this magazine. check with your library or universities near you, they should carry it
