Hello everyone!
I am posting just to get some general advice on whether or not I have a shot at getting into a clin psych PhD or PsyD program without a poster or publication (or my name on anything). I did post a bit ago about something similar to this, but I'm just looking for more specifics. For reference, once I graduate this spring, I will have spent 1.5 years as an RA in a research lab studying aggression, sexuality, and substance use. I have run participants through studies involving deception paradigms, done data input/analysis, worked on surveys (coding, creating), done lit reviews and annotated bibs for our studies, etc. I have done just about everything except for presenting at a conference or having my name on something. I am planning on taking a gap year and getting more research experience so hopefully I'll be able to at least get my name on something. However, if I do not, is this a big enough thing to prevent me from getting in? Even the programs that have higher acceptance rates?
