Guys, Hope you can help me on this one... :)

I'm a registered nurse who wants to be a doctor...

My question is,

Is it ok for any medical school to let me apply while I haven't taken the NMAT? but I'm planning on taking it this december... thanks.... :)

hey freakj,

im currently finishing my bsn and plan to take the nmat this dec. also.

as far as ur question goes...the only school i know that let's u apply even if u havent taken the NMAT is fatima. shoot, fatima will even let you go the first year of med school without the NMAT. just as long as you take it, PERIOD!

good luck.

Yes, you can.
I applied to only 2 state university med schools, and the one with much higher NMAT grad cut-off interviewed me even without my NMAT result yet. The other state school which also had an NMAT cut-off interviewed. Just make sure to send the result asap or follow up with the registrar.
That was a few years back though, so you may have to update with the schools you applied to.
