So I was volunteering at Mass General and I noticed a bed that was structured very similar to this:

Anybody know what this is called and what its function is? A chair is laid upside down across the chest, feet inserted into the bottom. Bed can rotate in a circle vertically.

I was actually thinking it looks like a butchered tilt table they use for training astronauts, but that's possible as well.

Well, the bed you showed was essentially a Circo-lectric bed, but I don’t think they’ve been used for decades.
