I'm only a P4, but I've been looking into toxicology programs and even wrote in the toxicology thread here that's for MDs, PharmDs, etc. I was wondering kind of roles a pharmacist may have in toxicology-I know of poison control centers, but I guess I am not exactly sure what is a typical day in a poison control center is like and what opportunities there are in more of a research, education and policy type of role (I'm interested in a public health, so I am thinking along those lines).
I'm also really interested in am care/clinical treatment of diabetic patients, which is a totally different ball game obviously, lol, so I was wondering if there is a way to have a role in both.
lol, sorry if this sounds incredibly naive, I'm just trying to get an idea of what kind of programs are out there and how I should go about in applying/learning more about them.
