Any Student Dental Assistants???

Good morning everyone. I am new to this forum and am wondering if this is where I can post questions about being a dental assistant student?? I am just wanting to know if there are any out there what is your day like in class, clinicals, what equipment do you bring with you like a watch, certain shoes, any medical accessories, do you paln on futhering your education?? I am currently in school to become a dental assistant but am in orientation and am very excited to start the program. Thank you for your time!!!!

While there isn't exactly a forum for that on SDN, there is one I believe on a site called:

dentaltown.com

If I'm not mistaken they have a forum devoted to dental assisting. You're welcome to kick it with us, but we probably wouldn't be of much use to ya. Hope this helps!
