Hi everyone. I am a doctor from India who has passed all the US boards on the first attempt. My scores are slightly above passing in all the exams. I even got a residency for 1 year in Family Medicine.

It's a long story but I was let go before the start of my 2nd year of residency.

I am in my 50s now and I am wondering if there is any other options left for me in the medical field. Is there anything else in medicine I can do that does not require completing a residency? I would be happy with a 50k job.

I do not want to go into nursing as an MD as its additional years in school to be "moving down the ladder". I hope you don't take offense to that statement but see my point of view.

If it helps, I am a US citizen.

Thanks for reading and all the best in your future!
