I like the article, but giving sole credit to Dr. New for pulse oximetry while giving no mention to Dr. Takuo Aoyagi, who is widely credited with the invention of pulse oximetry years before in 1974, is a huge oversight.
At least one female contributor should have been considered as well (Virginia Apgar, Gertie Marx, Claudia Potter, etc)
