Hello Fellows,

Could you please help me to answer these questions?

1- Criteria for use of oral Misoprostol for IOL include all of the following EXCEPT:
  • Inpatient setting
  • Greater than 34 Weeks gestation
  • Parity>4
  • No history of prior uterine surgery


2- Which of the following is most likely to suggest metabolic acidosis in the fetus?
  • Late deceleration accompanied by spontaneous accelerations
  • Intermittent Late deceleration pattern
  • Late deceleration accompanied by absent baseline variability
  • Late deceleration with the presence of secondary overshoots

  • 3- A 27 year old G2P1 presents at 41 weeks for induction of labour. On exam, her cervix is 2 cm dilated, 2cm long (50% effaced), medium consistency, posterior, -3station. Your management plan is:
  • Vaginal prostaglandin
  • Defer induction to 42 completed weeks
  • Artificial rupture of membranes
  • Oxytocin induction
