Hi,

I've been following the growing body of literature around using machine learning to identify melanoma and other skin conditions (Man against machine: diagnostic performance of a deep learning convolutional neural network for dermoscopic melanoma recognition in comparison to 5... - PubMed - NCBI, Stanford nature journal paper, etc.) and it's made me curious about how people feel this type of technology might fit into the care system. Thoughts?

Also, more specifically:
If you're not a dermatologist but encounter potential melanomas, how do you feel about your ability to identify the lesion? Do you usual just refer to the dermatologist?
How would you feel about letting a machine learning algorithm provide a care recommendation?
