AF question about reimbursments

My recruiter told me that the AF will reimburse the deposits that I make to dental school. I’m talking about the $500 that is due by Jan15th and the others that follow it until dental school starts. Anyone in the HSPS get reimbursed for these deposits? About how long did it take to receive the money from the AF?

Yeah you will get reimbursed. It wasn't the Air Force that directly paid me. When the Air Force paid my tuition in full, the school reimbursed me my deposit.

I would think its the same at every school. Even if its not, it wont be till right around school starts and your scholarship is active.

Let's be clear that you will only get reimbursed for one school, the school you attend....all other deposits are at your own expense
