Doctors say to not perform surgery because of risk, but if it's an active bleed, what would normally be done?

Looks like a subarachnoid bleed. It's all mechanism mechanism mechanism followed by location that determines opening up the skull and doing something. In this case outside of further context you don't gain anything from surgery. Patient needs close observation and vasospasm prophylaxis. Possible BP control. Possible seizure meds.
