ACOM vs NYITCOM-JB

I got off the WL for ACOM yesterday and scrambling to get my bearings should I end up attending the school. I had everything ready to go to attend NYITCOM (financial aid, housing, etc). Please let me know if it’s worth the hassle to attend ACOM.

NYITCOM pros:
-p/f
-non mandatory lectures but these are recorded from NY campus
- care a van to expose students to pt care
- a lot of housing is close by and cheaper

cons:
- about 30 ppl had to remediate last year so they joined our class
- questionable rotations


ACOM pros:
cheaper by $9k but housing will offset this pro
COMLEX scores a little higher than NYIT
better rotations
great sim lab
lower attrition
support from faculty seems better

cons:
ABCF grade system
housing is 20 mins away from campus
mandatory 60/40 attendance
area is more rural than jonesboro

The 30 people remediating under a P/F system would give me pause if that number is true. ACOM has better rotations and unlike some other DO schools in the South, NYIT AR has quite a few competitors (ARCOM and another MD school that will open up in the next year or two).

NYIT AR did not have complaints before this year though.
