Acetal vs Ketal. Wikipremed Error

Watching some wikipremed videos and came across this error. I wanted to make sure that what is shown is a hemiketal and ketal and not a hemiacetal and an acetal.

Yeah, as it's shown, you're right. A hemiketal has 2 R groups. Whereas, a hemiacetal replaces an H for the R.

But he might be right if he explicitly said that one of the "R" groups should be assumed to be an H in his lesson.

Yea, I guess so. The process is exactly the same anyway, right? The original H from the aldehyde is never lost in the process.
