While this is a better approach than ACEP has taken historically, they are still being extremely soft on this and really toeing the party line.

Instead of coming out and saying EM physicians provide superior care, and should be taking care of patients preferentially, they are using phrases like "EM physicians should be leading care". What does that mean? 1 physician overseeing 12 NPs?

Physician "led" care =/= care by a physician

ACEP can't piss off the CMG overlords too much... perhaps I should be less bitter and accept this may be the best we will get out of ACEP.
