Accepting applications for single slot a new (entering 3rd year) program to develop medical students with good writing skills into good scientific authors. Two prior med students published multiple papers and can describe their experience for candidates who are invited for a virtual interview.

You will take the lead on multiple scientific manuscripts under the direction of Dr. Christopher Ochner, former research faculty at Columbia University and current Division Director of Research with HCA (largest provider of GME), with over 40 publications.

Must be:

• Self-motivated. I will provide guidance but will not chase you down or push you for deadlines
• Located in South Florida. Most will be done virtually but some in-person meetings are helpful, covid precautions notwithstanding
• Currently enrolled in a US-based medical school
• Authorized to work in the US w/o visa sponsorship

Scientific writing experience preferred but not required.
