I was under the impression that James-Lange was: Event --> Physiological --> Interpretation of physiological --> emotion which is why I picked C. Can someone explain why the ans is A? Is there no interpretation involved in James Lange?

Thanks!

Correct, there's no interpretation in James-Lange. Here's my table for emotional-processing models (likely not 100% correct but enough to differentiate answer choices):

j-l: event -> physiological response -> emotion

s-s: event -> physiological response -> identify reason for the response -> emotion

c-b: event -> physiological response + emotion simultaneously

lazarus: event -> appraise -> emotion + physiological response simultaneously

Thanks for that. That's really helpful.
