AADSAS questions?

This is my first time posting, although I have been lurking for the past several weeks. I have two questions I hope someone on here can answer, they are:

1. Should I send in my AADSAS application without taking the DAT? I am scheduled for the DAT in two weeks.

2. Should I send my letters of recommendation through AADSAS? I have heard from numerous people that I should send my letters directly to the dental schools.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

1. Yes. Get your application in ASAP. Then fax your unofficial results to the schools you are applying.

2. I would send them into AADSAS, unless your school is like mine and has its own letter of rec service (where the teachers send it to an office at your school, who then forward them to all of the dental schools)
