During a working side movement (right or left) of the mandible:
the mesiobuccal cusp of the maxillary first molar passes through the lingual groove of the mandibular first molar, and
the mesiobuccal cusp of the maxillary second molar passes through the facial groove of the mandibulat second molar

why first molar passes through the lingual groove while the second molar passes through the facial groove? I am so confused:( , can somebody explain it for me. Thanks a lot.:luck:

hey ....Im doin DA now, Ive just passed by that, the first sentence should be :
the mesiobuccal cusp of the maxillary first molar passes through the mesiobuccal groove of the mandibular first molar.
