Here is a link to an MS-I class schedule I typed from our classes two years ago. However, the MS-I's this year had a little different schedule than we did.

The typical day is a lot different for a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. .

CCOM has a lot of exams, especially in your 3rd quarter of 1st year and 1st and 2nd quarters of 2nd year. Yet finals are not cumulative. Also, with 4 exams per class in 10 weeks, no one exam will determine your final score.

There is a lot to do around Chicago, and even in the suburbs around the school, depending on the weather. The school clubs also send lots of opportunities to you via e-mail. It depends on your interests and time.

Here is a thread from a little while back that lists the MS-1 Fall Quarter schedule. Other quarters during first year are similar with regards to time spent in class.

Dagny is correct about the test schedule...pretty intense! But more tests means less material is on each one, so they are a bit more manageable.

There is plenty to do on weekends, if you have the time...there are plenty of restaurants, movie theaters, and some bars in the area. And of course Chicago is only about a half hour away, with everything you could possibly want.
