44 or 46 questions per block on Step2?

I have been doing Usmleworld and it has 44 questions per block. I am using First Aid Step 2 (6th edition) to study and on page 2 , it says that Step 2 has 46 questions per block.

Can someone tell me what is really true? And why the discrepancy here?

Also does Step 2 have case studies/vignettes now? What can I anticipate in that regard?

i want to say 46/block but to be 100% honest i dont remember....

hopefully someone else can chime in but its not a big deal IMHO
