NEVER too late. i personally know a Dr, was a practicing orthodontist in South Korea for 30 years ( so you can imagine his age) and he just cleared his licensing exam, so take that as motivation and best of luck!
I am not trying for DDS, but I will be 42 when I matriculate into med school next summer. It is not too late for me, and it won't be too late for you if it is what you want to do with your life.
I almost feel guilty giving up a good career just so I can go sit in a classroom and LEARN all day long. It makes me feel like a teen-ager again.
