I am a Canadian student applying American medical schools.
AMCAS cGPA = 3.93
sGPA = 3.91
MCAT = 515 (94%)
(PC 129/CARS 128/BIO 130/PS 128)
Work/Activities:
One summer of research
International volunteer medical trip
Have worked in a radiology and endocrinology clinic in the past couple summers
Held executive positions on my schools diabetes club for the past couple years
Volunteered at a hospital for 4 years during high school
Got a merit scholarship from my university
Play multiple instruments and sports
Which schools should I apply to? Obviously ivey league schools are probably out of the picture, and even schools like NYU and Pritzer are probably slightly out of reach. I am considering schools like dartmouth, georgetown, and northwestern as my ideal schools. Of course I'll apply to some back ups as well but schools of that caliber are what I'm shooting for. What do you think?
Also I never took english during undergrad but i have a couple semesters worth of writing intensive courses.
Thanks in advance for your response!
