So, not considering DO schools at this point? If you are set on MD, work to get that sgpa to around 3.3 at least, which means killing those upper level courses. Schools appreciate the upward trends too. if you see by this fall semester that you wont be able to make the 3.3 this school year you might want to look into a post-bacc, in which I highly recommend Drexel DPMS (a 1 year masters program with direct linkage.) or Georgetown's GEMS programs for after you graduate. Both are geared toward URM. I'm very familiar with DPMS if you have any questions on that
For now see where your gpa stands after this fall semester, though I think these programs will build your case for MD. Also, look into DO schools just for research (that's the path I eventually took) it's not for everyone but it's still something to consider
