So I just got my mcat score back (29P, 10-9-10) which was below my aamc average of ~32, but I'm not sure if I want to retake.
I have a 4.0 from a public school in Missouri (my home state). I plan on applying to schools with median mcat scores of 30-31. The rest of my EC's are on my MDApps profile if you want to see them.
I'm just stuck and I don't know what to do. Retake and delay my app until my scores come back mid-August? Retake and submit anyways? Don't retake?
What are my chances with the 29P? I'm only applying MD, btw.
Update: I thought it would be helpful for other people if we saw updates on these types of posts every once in a while. I applied to 10 schools, was interviewed at 3 (My state school, Creighton, and U of Nebraska) and was rejected from all 3. Well, technically I'm still on the Creighton WL, but seeing as class starts in like 10 days...
I retook the mcat a week ago, and am applying again this cycle. I had OK EC's and a pretty good personal statement (or so I thought). I have more shadowing on this app, which may have held me back the first time.
