I just used Board Vitals and it was more than enough!
I wouldn't really worry about the correlation, since it's an average of the numerous attempts made by the same people on the same questions.for those of you that did boardvitals, how was your average correlating to the actual exam? my 70% correct= 24th percentile on board vitals?? must be some real geniuses doing that qbank?
Same as the ITE, same as every ABA exam. There are no breaks, any break time eats into your 4 hours.were there scheduled breaks or is it just 4 hours to do the 200 q's (and your breaks count in the 4 hours)? thanks in advance!
Sound about on par with all ABA exams these daysLiterally, exactly. I dont think studying AT ALL would’ve helped.
Weird test, never took a test with only 3 multiple choice options. I kept thinking the whole time my computer was messed up.
76-78% for the past four-five yearsWhat’s the pass rate for this exam?
Geez, that's a crappy pass rate.76-78% for the past four-five years
Not sure how true that is as the pass rate for people with a PMR background was 95% last year.76-78% for the past four-five years
For the Anesthesia Board pain exam? Not sure how true that is as the pass rate for people with a PMR background was 95% last year.
PMR and anesthesia take the same exam, but there is overall many more anesthesia candidates than PMR, so different pass rates. Psychiatry has an 84% pass rate if I remember correctly. Not sure how true that is as the pass rate for people with a PMR background was 95% last year.
Is that 76-78% pass rate that keeps being quoted based on any available document from the ABA? The only reference I can find for it online is the Pass Machine website.
A nearly 25% fail is pretty atrocious… would make you think why they would fail so many people if it’s graded on a curve. 10-15% fail rate is reasonable in that situation.
That's crazy. I can't imagine not studying for a board exam. I studied 15-20 hours a week for 2.5 months. Felt well prepared for the exam.Passed. Didn’t study. 1/3 chance of guessing right.
I studied for 3 months.Just out of curiosity, how long did you guys study?
KINDA SOUNDS LIKE BRAGGING to me...But what do I know, I am just Double-Board Certified (I am def bragging)Passed
Went thru 80% of board vitals only once.
Didn’t read many of the explanations
I’m not bragging… I’m just genuinely (happily) surprised that I passed because I wasn’t expecting it
