Hello everyone one, during the last several days I’ve been thinking about how difficult would be for an IMG with citizenships or green card in getting a Residency position during the current season. Knowing that the step 2cs have been cancelled until July of 2021 which it’s mandatory in order to get the ECFMG certification, and the others ways to get the certification seem to be extra difficult, do you guys think that the percentage of IMGs applying this season would decrease making easier to match for the remaining applicants that currently have the ECFMG certification? Or would it be harder considering that the US-senior medical students probably will apply more broadly for the lack of LoR and away rotations during covid pandemic??

My case:
IMG with green Card
Step 1: 217 step 2ck: 219 and step 2 cs: all passed first attempt
YoG: 2010
10 months of USME in emergency medicine and 5 years of international medical experiences in Latin America Mostly in psychiatry.
New York limited Permit to practice medicine.
2 research experience no publication
I am applying broadly to 95 psychiatry programs and 55 pathology programs.
Please a honest answer would be kindly appreciate, thank you.
