Better yet. Received an interview at Buffalo last week and a rejection this AM!! Cant seem to find any info out on this program?? Anyone have any insight?

Just rubs salt into the wound. I have a classmate who already has 4 derm interviews, so I don't need any extra wound-salting at the moment when I realize it sucks comparing yourself with others in this process. I'll admit, having one interview invitation feels great right now, but knowing that I've apparently been passed over by 20+ other programs (based on this thread) kinda sucks, too.
 
FWIW, don't be completely bummed if an interview invite you really wanted goes out and you didn't get one. It seems like some of the programs do send out invites in waves. I didn't get my MUSC invite until a few days after it was posted as going out on here. It seems like someone else had the same experience with a Texas program. We still have plenty of time! :)

I'm in the exact same position and it's hard not to feel like an idiot. As I've been told many times, "it only takes one."

Did anyone else receive this secondary essay request from Indiana University? I would assume this was sent to everyone!

If you look at the last year's list, they had two waves of interviews for one interview date. So I'm inclined to think that they will have another wave. But better be soon, since the interview date of 12/10 is coming up soon. Good luck to you.

Got the WashU rejection too. Another thing I hate about this process is that both rejections and invitations come with the same "[email protected], with or without a subject heading. So when I check my email (especially on my phone), all I see is the email address and have to wonder before clicking it whether it's good news or bad news.

I do too. I have every rejection listed on here. I am no longer trying to stay positve... I'm trying to stay minimally depressed. I swear to God I almost started crying on rounds today. This really really really sucks.
